Első este a kertben voltunk, második este a homokos strandon vacsoráztunk.

Milyen gyönyörű látvány pont a szobánk előtt. Rögtön elfelejtettük a 8 óra utat.

Using the opportunity of the Fall’s holiday, we decided to leave Manila, its noise and its pollution to have a short trip together. We decided to explore a region north of Manila. Our destination : the Hundred Islands National parc, Bolinao city, Patar’s white beach …….white sand, to have rest, farniente….
Our small paradise is located at 315 km from our home, in Muntinlupa, and we thought that we could be there in 3 or maximum 4 hours by car, but when our GPS showed us that we needed 7 hours and 19 minutes, we had a real big laugh in the car. Ah, the GPS is like Filipinos, not really in a hurry !
We have to confess, you know, that the GPS was right, unfortunately. We entered through the door of the front office of the Puerta del Sol resort beach at 19.40 pm and we had only stopped once for a 1 hour lunch break.
It was already dark at our arrival. We heard the waves’noise far away somewhere, but we couldn’t see anything. We moved in our nice bungalow composed by a living room and a spacious bedroom where there was place for 5 of us, confortally. We deserved really a good dinner.  El Puerta Del Sol settles the place for dinner everyday at a different place in the resort, and this first evening , the tables were in the garden next to the large swimming pool. The à la carte offer proposed meals that each of us liked (not really an easy thing to accomplish) and we had a nice dinner, in semi darkness. After this long and tireing route, nobody had to insist to push us in a bed and get asleep, in a room plesantly refreshed by air conditionning.
The morning of the first day, when a brighlty sunshine was already entering in our room, Tibor asked me to switch off the noisy air conditionning, but the air conditionning was NOT switch on. .....so what was the origin of the noise? We went out on the terrass and the sea just in front of us offered a very nice performance. The waves at the horizon were the cause of the « terrible » noise which disturbed Tibor and unfortunatelly I was unable to switch them off.... What a fairy view just in front of our door! We forgot straight away the 8 hours road of the day before!!!
In front of us, approximately at 200 or 300 meters, nice high waves formed by a „natural break waves”.  Thomas, Fanny and Tibor left straight to discover them, by walking in a transparent water on algues and rocks, „aquatic” shoes are obligatory !!!! With Zoé, we watched them from the beach and sometimes, they disapeared under foaming waves. During this time, Zoé started a nice collection of shelves. When finally after 1 and ½ hours, the troup came back from the waves, jumping, we went together to eat delicious fresh grilled fishes proposed by the restaurant of the resort. We only had to choose among the list of local fishes caught on the morning and 30 minutes later, they were ready to be eaten. A real festin !!!.
The first day in the afternoon, we went to visit the touristical sites located in the neighbourhood: a lighthouse ( the second biggest lighthouse in the Philippines), then two natural caves (the Enchanted Cave and the Wonderful Cave).

Unfortunatelly, it was not possible to climb to the top of the lighthouse but the view from its bottom was already wonderful.

The two caves offered us the possibility to take a fresh bath in fresh, transparent and smooth water. After our first two months in the Philippines and its very warm climate, we really needed this kind of refreshment !!
We share with you our trip and our first day of holiday with a lot of nice pictures ! Enjoy them!!!!

Sajnos vidéken is rengetek a szemét, és itt a folyó szélén gyűlik össze.

We are still on Saturday, October 19th, and we attended on another kind of Halloween party, which consists in a walk from house to house , to ring and shout "trick or treat" and collect all kind of candys possible. This nice activity was proposed by Manille Bienvenue to the members and their family, and of course, we were there... So, after the fantastic "black house" party, we traveled to Dasmarinas village to join a nice group of children and their parent. The circuit was organised really on a professional way and the children had a lot of fun to run from a house to another. After 10 houses, the baskets were full of candys. I would like to add just a detail : it was warm, it was the warmest Halloween walk than I have never had with more 30 degrees...

But the real day is still coming , on 31st of October, when we will celebrate the real Halloween in Ayala !!

Allez, Murielle, on te suit !!!

Saturday, 2013 October 19th, as an event organized by ALIG (http://aligmanila.com/), the annual Halloween party took place in the village of Ayala Alabang. Everyone was welcome, but it was mostly a party for the children dressed. The house that hosted this mega party is normally an ordinary house throughout the year BUT around Halloween, for about three weeks, it turns into the house the most "frightening" of the village. Some pictures are worth more than a great speech .... So have fun!!!

A trambulinon lógtak nagy méretű fekete pókok !!

jeudi 17 octobre 2013

Valakinek van egy kis tejföl ??? Some sour cream ???

So, I can not believe that myself neither !!! We had to move here at one far part of the world and I finally prepare on my own Hungarian "galuska"  ( a kind of Gnocchi but it is not gnocchi because it is galuska and it is not prepared with potato but my flour, eggs, salt and water !!!) !! I probably tried once , in the past, in Hungary and i probably bought an accessorie , a kind of dumpling chopper, to do them correctly and I left this precious instrument in Hungary , of course ! But the result is correct, more than correct, good... delicious !! OK, their size is not standard, but with practise  I will prepare them fine !!!
Does someone have some sour cream for the "pörkölt" (paprika/pork stew) ???
